Location of burial plot
We have compiled together 9 points to take note of when selecting the location for a burial plot. If you are not overly ambitious and simply want a beautiful resting place for the deceased, so that your children can be at peace and revel in prosperity, then this article will help you choose a good location to bury your loved ones who have passed on.
Thing to note:
1. - The location must be at a moderately high altitude with lush vegetation, and the area in front of the grave must be spacious and unobstructed. If the grave is located on a hill, where water flows over its feet and is embrace from both sides by the hills, where behind are tall mountains and in front are streams, lakes, rivers, then this is the ideal place to lay the deceased to rest.
2. - The location of the grave must be peaceful, far away from noisy, clamorous places and paths. This is essential, as to not disturb the silence, because this will ensure the blessings of the deceased’s descendants are unharmed. If the grave has a path or stream that cuts through the center or pierces through the sides or the path behind is dark, the owners will fail and cause harm to people.
3. - One should avoid locations that are extremely windy, as this will gather bad energy. Placing the grave in a position that is too high and barren will cause a phenomenon known as the ‘lady who kills’, as the grave receives wind from all directions, resulting in the negative energy dispersing. This will in turn bring failure to children, lots of bad luck and difficulties.
4. - The location of the new grave must also not be a previous burial site and not contain the bones of a person, elephant, cow, ox, pig, etc… If this is the case, the deceased’s descendants will become terminally ill and perish within 3 years.
5. - The location must be a favorably geomantic one - where ‘the dragon’s essence’ flows through, not cut off. If this happens, the deceased’s descendants will become sick, and die suddenly or by suicide – which will ultimately result in no males in line, ending the family legacy. The grave should also not be placed next to a large tree, as if the trees roots stab and disturb the remains of the deceased, their children and grandchildren will face failure and bad fortune.
6. - The location must not be uneven or odd-shaped, nor should it be on hard rock or a lonely hill.
7. - It is terrible practice to place a grave on or next to groundwater. This is because the loose rock and soil beneath the grave makes it susceptible to collapse, and this will harm the welfare of the deceased’s family.
8. - If the grave is in a cemetery, it is crucial that the grave is not encroached by surrounding graves, lies directly behind another or is impaled by the two adjacent graves. If the requirements are not met, the deceased’s descendants will become corrupt and harming family – especially that of the eldest son.
9. - When digging the hole for the grave, the bottom should be porous and light, and coloured a red like that of the yolk of an egg, the five colours, a yellow-pink, a dark ochre, or pink. Soil with this texture is considered beautiful and best for a grave.
